Steve Vickery serves as Pastor/Teacher at Calvary Chapel Cardiff, and is the Director of Calvary Chapel Bible College Wales and believes passionately in the clear teaching and proclaiming of the truth of God's Word.

Steve has served in various capacites since the Church began in 2001.He began his teaching ministry in 2005 before taking over as Senior Pastor from Pastor John in January 2010.

Steve holds a BA in Govermnent and Politics from Manchester University, and a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies from Calvary Chapel Bible College, Murrieta, California, USA.

Steve married his wife Amber in June 2009. Amber serves as the Church Secretary and oversees our Worship Music & Radio Ministries.


Pastor John VickeryPastor John Vickery
Pastor John Vickery and his wife Julie come from Wales. They have been married for over 40 years and have 5 (grown up) children. Pastor John has been involved in church planting, discipleship and pastoral ministry in England and Wales for over 30 years.

His vision of world mission and his Bible Teaching Ministry has taken him to many parts of the world, including Western and Eastern Europe, Africa, China, Japan, USA, Canada, and Israel. He pastored churches in the Lake District, Yorkshire and Buckinghamshire before returning to the land of his fathers to plant the first Calvary Chapel in Wales. He also served on the borad of Directors of Sudan United Mission (now Action Partners) and a Director of Bawtry Hall Conference Centre near Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Pastor John is currently on the Board of Directors for Creation Fest UK. Creation Fest is a Free Christian Music Festival and Bible Week held at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Cornwall, England every August. To find out more about Creation Fest UK, visit their website.

Pastor John was also a director of ROPE (Relief for Oppressed People Everywhere). ROPE is a volunteer charity that helps the poor in 85 countries with direct aid, food, education, medical help, heating, housing, clothing, and in many other ways. Those helped include widows, orphans, refugees, the sick, unemployed and the homeless. ROPE provides revolving loan schemes to encourage self-help sustainable projects. 100% of gifts goes to the poor, none is used for expenses.
